Job description

As an Activity Coordinator at Aries Healthcare, you will be responsible for planning and executing a diverse range of activities designed to promote the mental and physical well-being of our service users. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure activities are tailored to the needs and interests of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and implement a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities.
  • Assess the needs and interests of service users to create personalized activity plans.
  • Coordinate with psychologists, occupational therapists, and other staff to ensure activities align with care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed.
  • Organize special events and outings to promote social engagement and community integration.
  • Maintain records of activities and participants’ progress.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., recreational therapy, social work, psychology) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in activity coordination, preferably within mental healthcare or social services.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Creative and energetic approach to engaging participants.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
